Chinese leader Li to call on Prez Bhandari today, traffic congestion likely in these places
KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Li Zhanshu, the current Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, is scheduled to call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari today at 3 PM.
Li is currently in his four day visit to Nepal and holding high level meetings. Prior to this, Li held meetings with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Speaker of the lower and the upper houses, Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Due to his meeting, traffic congestion is likely in the Kathmandu Valley, especially at Ravi Bhawan area, Split Hotel area, Kalimati, Tripureshwor, Thapathali, Maitighar Mandala, New Baneshwor, Tinkune, Koteshwar, Jadibuti, Lokanthali, Raderade, Sallaghari and Kalopati Vyasi among other places.
Li is also scheduled to visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square this morning.
Li will be flying home on Thursday.
