KMC directs Balkhu-based ‘Kashi Bazaar’ to vacate the area within 15 days

KATHMANDU, Aug 18: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has directed businesses at the Balkhu-based ‘Kashi Bazaar’ to vacate the area within 15 days from today.

Issuing a notice on Thursday, the metropolis maintained that the decision was taken after receiving complaints from locals that the bazaar has polluted the river, environment and distrubed those living nearby.

The metropolis has also warned of legal action if its directions are not taken seriously.
