Probe committee to submit report on investigation of charges against Ex-FinMin Sharma today

KATHMANDU, July 29: A parliamentary committee formed to investigate charges against former Finance Minister Janardan Sharma that he invited two unofficial personnel at the Ministry and changed the tax rates during the budget preparation is scheduled to submit its report to Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota on Friday.

It took 17 days for the committee to complete the investigation.

According to Surendra Aryal, secretary of the committee, the committee will submit the report this morning.

It has been learned that the committee has, however, failed to collect evidence against Sharma.
