568 new cases of COVID-19 recorded on Monday, one death

The Kathmandu Valley recorded 295 new cases today.

KATHMANDU, July 25: Nepal on Monday recorded 568 new cases of COVID-19.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 4,800 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Of them, 568 tests turned out to be positive for the disease.

With this, there are currently 3,534 active cases of COVID-19 across the country as of Monday afternoon.

The Kathmandu Valley recorded 295 new cases today. Of them, 242 were detected in Kathmandu, 17 in Bhaktapur and 36 in Lalitpur districts.

Likewise, one person diagnosed with the disease died on Monday.

So far, as many as 11,957 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Nepal.
