Ban on import of these ‘luxurious goods’ extended for 44 more days

KATHMANDU, July 17: The government has extended the ban on luxurious goods imposed earlier till August 30.
A Cabinet meeting held earlier on Friday took a decision to extend the ban on import of the following luxurious goods for 44 more days:
1) ‘Kurkure’
2) ‘Kurmure’
3) Lays
4) Alcohol
5) Cigarettes and tobacco products
6) Diamond
7) Mobile Phones costing more than $ 300
8) Color Television exceeding 32 inches
9) Jeep, Car and Ven, Motorcycles exceeding 150 cc
10) Dolls and playing cards
