Bhattarai urges Chair Yadav-led faction to postpone its CC meeting schedule for Wednesday

KATHMANDU, July 12: Inviting for a meeting, Babu Ram Bhattarai, Chairman of Federal Council of the party, has urged Chairman of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Upendra Yadav to put off the central committee meeting of latter led faction scheduled to kick off from Wednesday.

Addressing the central committee meeting of a faction close to him, Bhattarai maintained that he was not invited by Chair Yadav to the central committee meeting to begin at Birgunj from tomorrow.  

Bhattarai also claimed that he has the number and support of a majority of party members in the party.

Disputes between two leaders, Yadav and Bhattarai,  have reached its limits in recent days pushing the JSP to the brink.
