Tourism Minister Ale vows to resign from his post anytime as per party’s decision

KATHMANDU, June 26: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale submitted a ‘commitment letter’ to Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, maintaining that he is ready to resign from his post anytime.

Earlier, the secretariat, central committee and politburo committee meetings of the party had decided to recall its ministers from the government.

According to secretary general of the party, Bedhuram Bhusal, Ale has stated that he is ready to resign from his post within 24 hours.

In recent days, the party’s decision to recall its ministers from the government and send a new set of ministers has triggered an intra-party rift in the party.
