KATHMANDU, June 22: A three member committee is to be formed to investigate the involvement of Judge Raj Kumar Koirala of District Court of Kathmandu in corruption.

The committee will investigate the case and submit a report within 45 days.

As soon as the committee begins its investigation, Judge Koirala will be suspended.

Earlier on Tuesday, an audio tape of Judge Koirala making a deal for releasing the Ex-Chairperson of Civil Cooperatives, Ichha Raj Tamang, in Rs 20 million was made public by a television.

However, Koirala is not heard agreeing to the deal in the audio.
