Ruling alliance meeting today, govt preparing to reshuffle Cabinet

KATHMANDU, June 22: The ruling alliance is scheduled to hold a meeting at 3 PM on Wednesday.

According to a leader of Nepali Congress (NC), the meeting will dwell on issues of Cabinet reshuffling.

The meeting is likely to be attended by the key leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist) and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).

The ruling alliance in recent days has been preparing for a Cabinet reshuffle.

Earlier on June 5, the CPN (US) recalled its ministers from the government and proposed the new names for the position which pressurized other coalition members to reshuffle the Cabinet.
