AOAN announces to halt domestic air service from tomorrow if govt fails to address its demands
KATHMANDU, June 21: The umbrella organization of private airline companies in Nepal, the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) has announced to halt the domestic air service, if the government fails to address its demand.
Agitating AOAN has also accused the government of introducing new policies related to operation and hiking charges of parking, landing and navigation, unilaterally neglecting previously reached agreements.
Organizing a press conference in the capital on Tuesday, the association has unveiled five point demands and warned the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) of halting the service, including emergency rescue services if the government fails to address it.
