Govt reviews long-haul transport fare with increase in fuel price (with list)

KATHMANDU, June 20: The government has increased the long-haul transport fare soon after the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) decided to increase the fuel prices on Sunday. 

According to the Department of Transport Management, the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transportation, the fare of long-distance public vehicles has been increased by 5.30 percent.

Likewise, the fares of the vehicles used to transport supplies have been increased by 6.94 percent in the hilly region and 7.7 percent in the terai region.
