Govt reviews public vehicle fares as NOC decreases price of petroleum products

KATHMANDU, June 3: Following the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC)’s decision to decrease the price of petroleum products (petrol and diesel) by Rs 10 per liter on Thursday, the Department of Transport Management has reviewed the fare of public vehicles.
According to the department, the public vehicle’s fare has been decreased by two percent – 2.6 percent for vehicles plying in Hilly region and 2.9 percent for Terai region.
