IN PICS: Final rites of people killed in Tara Air’s plane crash

KATHMANDU, June 2: Last rites of people killed in Tara Air Twin-Otter plane crash were performed on Thursday.

Dead bodies of people killed in the crash at the northern Nepalese district of Mustang were handed over to their family members earlier today. 

The dead bodies were kept at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu for postmortem before being handed over.

22 people, including 19 passengers and three crew members, were killed in the Tara Air’s Twin-Otter plane crash on Sunday. Of them, four were Indians, two were Germans and 16 were Nepali passengers.
