Chaos at Dolakha: Voting postponed, 13 rounds of bullet fired

KATHMANDU, May 13: Voting in Baiteshwor Rural Municipality of Dolakha district has been postponed following a clash between voters.

According to SSP Bishnu KC, Spokesperson of Nepal Police, two groups of voters clashed at Kali Dunga Secondary School-based polling center of the Rural Municipality.

Likewise, bullets were fired to disperse the crowd at a polling center of Mailung Rural Municipality-4. 

Altogether 13 rounds of bullets were fired in these two places, according to SP Ganga Poudel.

Voting has been postponed in both the Rural Municipalities.
