Govt recommends Prez Bhandari to summon House session on May 18

KATHMANDU, May 8: The government has recommended President Bidya Devi Bhandari to summon the House session on May 18.

A Cabinet meeting held earlier on Sunday took a decision to this effect.

The government made the recommendation to discuss the budget as the government is due to introduce the national budget on May 29 as per the constitutional provisions.

There has been a practice of discussing and presenting the government's plans and policies before introducing the national budget.
