Dheeraj Prakash Singh appointed 29th IGP

KATHMANDU, May 1: The government has appointed Dheeraj Prakash Singh as the 29th Inspector General of Nepal Police.

A meeting held earlier at the Prime Minister’s Office Residence earlier this morning took a decision to promote Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Singh to the post of IGP, according to Birodh Kathiwada, Minister for Health and Population (MoHP).

The appointment was made as current IGP of Nepal Police Sailesh Thapa,  is retiring today.
