KATHMANDU, April 15: Bisket (Biska) Jatra has kicked off in Bhaktapur. 

It is believed that people celebrate this Jarta to welcome the spring season. 

People smear each other with Sindoor (orange vermillion powder) as in the Holi festival and sing and dance to the tune of traditional music during the procession.
