Madhav Nepal: Why did Oli build a bunker at Baluwatar?

KATHMANDU, March 27: Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist). Madhav Kumar Nepal has maintained that KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of CPN-UML, has built a bunker near his residence building at Baluwatar.

Addressing a meeting of Socialist Press Union Nepal on Sunday, Nepal maintained that Oli built a bunker at Baluwatar when he was Prime Minister and conspired the dissolution of parliament.

“Why was a bunker needed?” Nepal questioned.

According to Nepal, the bunker was used to hold secret meetings with the President, the Chief of the Nepal Army and Chief Justice.

“Besides holding multiple meetings with Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana, Oli had already finalized names of justices and police officers to be assigned in various local units during the election as per his will,” said Nepal.

“Oli’s plan was to dissolve the House and hold an election and I have come to know about his plan recently,” he added. 

Nepal has also accused Oli of sharing misinformation and individualism.
