HoR meeting deferred until Jan 30

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been postponed until January 29. 

The meeting, which was scheduled to be held on January 17, has been deferred for a later date owing to the rising COVID-19 cases. 

Issuing a notice on Sunday, Bharat Raj Gautam, General Secretary at the Federal Parliament Secretariat, shared that the next meeting will be held at 1 PM on January 30. 

Meanwhile, the meetings of the upper house of parliament --- National Assembly (NA) --- have been postponed sine die amid COVID-19 risk.
