25 groups formed to discuss Prachanda’s political document

KATHMANDU, Dec 27: As many as 25 groups have been formed to discuss the political document tabled by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in the ongoing closed-door session. 

Earlier, CPrachanda tabled his political document entitled ‘Nepali Path toward Socialism in the 21st Century'.

Pane-wise deliberations over the dossier of Prachanda will be held later. 

Members of the senior communist forum and advisory councils have been divided into three groups led by Nanda Bahadur Thapa. 

Two panels of Province 1 led by Harka Gurung and two other groups comprising delegates from Province 2 led by Ganesh Sah will hold deliberations over the party chair’s document. 

While Chakrapani Khanal has been entrusted as the group leader of Lumbini Province, Gandaki Province will hold discussions under Gayatri Gurung’s leadership. Khanal and Gurung will oversee two groups each. 

Similarly, Laxman Pant will preside over the two groups under the diaspora committee, Bimala KC Karnali Province and Khagraj Bhatta will lead a group discussion of Sudur Paschim Province. 

Saral Sahayatri will head the two groups of Bagmati Province and Maya Prasad Sharma has been named the team leader of two groups representing all the departments of the party. 

Similarly, Shree Krishna Adhikari and Amrita Thapa among others will preside over various groups to discuss the document tabled by Prachanda before its endorsement. 

Meanwhile, Dev Gurung presented a draft of the party statue.
