NC Gen Convention: Results of nine CC members announced

KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Results of the vote count for nine central committee members of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC)  under the Dalit cluster were announced on Thursday. 

According to the party’s central election committee, Man Bahadur Nepali, Prakash Rasaili ‘Snehi’, Nirp Bahadur Od, Harisharan Nepali and Mekulal Balmiki have won the elections held on December 13 towards the Dalit (Open) cluster.  

Likewise, Laxmi Pariyar, Sujata Pariyar, Shanti Pariyar and Rupa Bishwakarma have been elected towards the women quota. 

Vote-counting for the central committee members under different clusters is underway at the Sanepa-based party head office. 

The NC delegates voted for the central executive committee on Monday, last week.
