Anti-graft body raids three municipal offices including Bhaktapur’s Changunarayan

KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), on Tuesday, raided three municipal offices. 

The spokesperson for the anti-graft body said that municipal offices of Changunarayan (Bhaktapur), Buddha Bhumi (Kapilvastu) and Bhokraha (Sunsari) municipalities were raided and official documents were seized. 

The anti-corruption body took action after receiving complaints of irregularities in the course of procurement and payment made for the goods and services more than Rs 500,000.
