Four die when a house in Lalitpur catches fire

KATHMANDU: Four of a family died when a house at Mangal Bazar of Lalitpur district caught fire on Friday evening. 

The deceased have been identified as Laxmi Krishna Tamrakar, Anjana Tamrakar, Ranjana Tamrakar and Nirmal Tamrakar. 

Similarly, two other persons sustained injuries in the course of dousing fire, according to SSP Kiran Bajracharya. 

According to preliminary investigation by police, the fire spread from the oil-lamp lit during the Mha Puja, which later triggered a cooking gas explosion.
