Photos: People flock to marketplaces flouting COVID-19 protocol

KATHMANDU: As Dashain, one of the biggest festivals observed in Nepal, is drawing closer, people are busy shopping for necessary goods and commodities. 

Marketplaces in Kathmandu including Ason, Indrachowk, New Road and Sundhara are seen overflooded with the shoppers. 

Neither the crowd nor the businesspersons were found strictly abiding by COVID-19 protocol through local administration has urged people to adopt precautionary measures when our photojournalists duo Krishna Khadka and Subash Shrestha reached those places on Saturday..
