Panel discussions in UML's statute general convention conclude

KATHMANDU: Group discussions in the CPN-UML's first Statute General Convention have concluded.  

The deliberations on political and organizational reports as well as the statute amendment proposal, which began on Saturday morning, concluded. 

UML party office secretary, Sher Bahadur Tamang, shared that discussions were held in 10 different groups on the three reports and proposals tabled at Friday's session. 

The group leaders will submit suggestions on all three reports on Saturday itself. Party Chair KP Sharma Oli on the political report, General-Secretary Ishwor Pokharel on organizational report and Deputy-General Secretary Bishnu Prasad Poudel on statute amendment proposal will respond to them on Sunday.  

A total of 6,347 delegates are participating in the convention that will run until Sunday.
