COVID-19: 1,066 new cases detected, 938 patients recover

KATHMANDU: Officials on Friday confirmed as many as 1,066 new coronavirus cases and 938 recoveries. 

A total of 898 cases were detected through the RT-PCR tests and 168 others through antigen testing methods, revealed the daily coronavirus updates released by the Health Ministry. As many as 13,368 tests were carried out in the past 24 hours as of Friday afternoon. 

Meanwhile, 13 people succumbed to the disease on Friday. 

Similarly, 217,391 were vaccinated against the disease.
