CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Nepal admitted to TUTH

KATHMANDU, September 30: Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has been admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.

Chair Nepal had fallen ill for the past few days and has now been admitted to TUTH, according to Nepal’s secretariat. “Nepal’s health condition is normal for now. He has been advised to rest and get some medical support.”

Even if Nepal is experiencing symptoms similar to that of COVID-19, he has tested negative after a polymerase chain reaction test.

Nepal is currently undergoing treatment under supervision of senior pulmonologist at TUTH Dr Santakumar Das.
