Maoist Center summons meeting at Parisdanda to discuss national gathering of party
KATHMANDU, September 27: A meeting of the standing committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) has been summoned at Party headquarters at Parisdana in Kathmandu.
The meeting is likely to formulate criteria and pick representatives for the national gathering of the party, according to leader Narayankaji Shrestha.
The party is scheduled to hold a national gathering from December 26 to 28 later this year. The party is currently holding gatherings at ward-level across the country.
Likewise, due to the Dashain and Tihar festivals, municipality gatherings are likely to be deferred after the festivals.
