Coalition partners agree to give full shape to govt soon
KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition has agreed to expand the Cabinet very soon.
In the meeting of the top leaders of the ruling coalition convened in the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar today, the leaders forged an agreement to give full shape to the incumbent government and to make the coalition partnership stronger at the province level as well.
According to Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) leader Mahindra Ray Yadav, the leaders also agreed on reviewing the incumbent government's performance and inactivating the ordinance that splits political parties.
They also dwelt on the contemporary political issues and decided that the top leaders of the coalition parties would decide on the issues discussed in today's meeting, said Yadav.
Present in the meeting were Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party Federal Council Chairperson Dr Baburam Bhattarai, JSP Chairperson Upendra Yadav and JSP's Mahindra Ray Yadav.
