Bhusal to be named General Secretary of United Socialist Party
KATHMANDU, September 23: Dr Beduram Bhusal is all set to be the General Secretary of the CPN (Unified Socialist).
A Secretariat meeting held earlier on Thursday took the decision to this effect.
The Secretariat meeting has reached an agreement to name Dr Bhusal as the General Secretary of the party. Bhusal will be announced General Secretary in the next central committee meeting, a leader of the party told Ratopati.
Along with Bhusal, leader Mukunda Neupane, Rajendra Pandey, Gangalal Tuladar and Bijay Poudel were aspirants for the post of General Secretary in the party.
As per the statute of the party, CPN (Unified Socialist) can have one chairman, one senior-leader, one vice-chairman, one general secretary, two joint secretaries, seven secretaries and 115 members.
