1,330 new corona cases detected Tuesday

KATHMANDU: As many as 1,330 new cases of the coronavirus disease were detected through 13,622 tests carried out in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday afternoon.
According to the officials at the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the total number of cases has reached 786,577 (through RT-PCR tests) and 89,382 (through antigen tests).
The cumulative number of recoveries has jumped to 754,000 including 1,830 recoveries reported on Tuesday. Nepal’s recovery rate stands at 95.9 percent.
The ministry’s daily updates revealed that there are still 21,524 active cases of the disease including 335 Patients in ICUs and 107 in ventilators.
