Appropriation Bill passed amid UML’s obstruction

KATHMANDU, September 20: Appropriation Bill, 2021, tabled by Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, was passed by a House of Representatives (HoR) meeting amid an obstruction by the main opposition party, CPN (UML) on Monday.

Earlier, on September 10, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma presented the Budget Replacement Bill amid sloganeering UML lawmakers.

Finance Minister Sharma also responded to some queries raised by lawmakers related to the budget.

Likewise, a cost cut-off proposal tabled by Prem Suwal was rejected by the majority in the House.
