Oman all out for 121, Nepal’s KC, Lamichhane claim four wickets each
KATHMANDU: Nepal has restricted Oman to 121 runs in a one-day international match under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 being played in Oman on Sunday.
Nepal’s pacer Karan KC and leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane took four wickets each while Sharad Vesawkar sent two Omani batsmen to the pavilion.
Skipper Zeeshan Maqsood scored the highest 41 runs for Oman while seven other batsmen could not reach the double-digit mark. Opener Jatinder Singher (13) and Kaleemullah (11) scored more than ten runs.
Nepal will now have to score 122 runs in the fifty over.
Earlier, Nepal opted to field first after winning the toss.
