Second dose of Vero Cell vaccine to be administered from Monday
KATHMANDU, September 19: The second dose of Verocell vaccine against COVID-19 is to be administered from September 20.
The District Health Office, Kathmandu, is going to administer the second dose of vaccine from 145 vaccination centres across the district. The office has urged all the beneficiaries to get vaccinated after reaching the designated centres.
Chief Public Health Administrator of the office, Badri Bahadur Khadka, said that 32 vaccination centres have been designated in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 10 in Kirtipur, 15 in Chandragiri, 10 in Nagarjun, 11 in Tarkeshwar, nine in Dakshinkali, 13 in Budhanilkantha, 11 in Tokha and nine each in Gokarneshwor, Shankarapur and Bageshwori Manahar.
Similarly, vaccination centres have also been set up at Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj, Armed Police Force Hospital, Balambu, Bir Hospital, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital and Birendra Army Hospital.
The government had brought 4.4 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine from China on Friday.
