COVID-19: 1,558 new cases detected thru 12,385 tests

KATHMANDU: Officials confirmed 1,558 new cases of the coronavirus disease on Friday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), those cases were detected through 12,385 tests including both RT-PCR and antigen tests.
Meanwhile, 1,351 people got over the disease in the past 24 hours as of Friday afternoon taking the total recoveries in the country to 746,566.
As many as 25,497 patients, however, are to recover from the disease as of Friday afternoon.
