UML's Pokharel wins in Kathmandu 5

 

Kathmandu,  CPN (UML) General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel representing the left alliance won a Kathandu constituency 5 parliamentary seat with a wide margin of vote. He received 23,029 votes, while his nearest rival Nepali Congress's Prakash Sharan Mahat representing the democratic alliance 13,169 votes. Bibeksheek Sajha's Ujjwal Thapa is placed in third position with 6,813 votes.
