Oman defeats Nepal by 5 wickets

KATHMANDU, September 15: Oman has defeated Nepal by 5 wickets in the ICC Men Cricket World Cup League 2. 

A century of opener Jetender Singh played a crucial role for Oman to clinch victory against Nepal.

After winning the toss, Nepal had elected to bat first and set a target of 197 runs for Oman.

Oman on its part scored the targeted runs in 31.1 overs of the game.

The player of the match was awarded to Singh who had scored 107 runs including 12 fours and six sixes.

Meanwhile, Karan KC and Kushal Malla took 2 wickets each for Nepal.
