All-party meeting called by Speaker ends inconclusively

KATHMANDU: The all-party meeting called by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota in a bid to resolve the ongoing House construction by the main opposition CPN-UML has ended inconclusively. 

The meeting which was held for two and half hours could draw any conclusion as the UML boycotted Monday’s meeting. 

The participants advised Speaker Sapkota to intensify negotiation and dialogue to resolve the stalemate in the House. 

The meeting was held to seek a solution at a time the main opposition UML has been obstructing the proceedings of the House of Representatives (HoR) since the new session began on Wednesday, last week.
