Swimming pools in Kathmandu reopen after a hiatus of two years (photos)

KATHMANDU, September 12: Swimming pools are gradually reopening after the local government in the Kathmandu Valley lifted all kinds of COVID-19 restrictions beginning from September 1.

Swimming pools, gymnasium, clubs and cinema halls have remained closed for around two years since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

People who were confined in their houses for so long in order to curb the further spread of COVID-19 are now allowed to visit swimming pools and cinema halls.
