27,958 active corona cases nationwide including 6,554 in Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU: Though the number of daily case-count is decreasing, there are still 27,958 active cases of coronavirus disease in the country.
According to the Health Ministry, there are 26,296 patients staying isolated at their homes while 1,662 are undergoing treatment at the institutional isolation centers. Similarly, 458 other patients are receiving treatment at ICUs while 145 others are being treated in the ventilator support.
Of the total number of active cases, 6,554 are in the Kathmandu Valley, where Nepal’s federal capital city lies.
