KATHMANDU, September 9: Fatema Z Sumar, vice-president of the Department of Operations of the Millennium Corporate Challenge (MCC) is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu on Thursday for their four day visit.
Vice-president Sumar will be accompanied by Deputy Vice President for Compact Operations Jonathan Brooks.
The team is scheduled to arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 9:10 AM today.
The team will be arriving in Nepal to discuss MCC a day after their written answer of the queries that the government of Nepal had forwarded.
The visit comes at a time when the MCC is awaiting ratification from parliament.
MCC has made it clear that there is no hidden agenda behind the project and does not include any military projects.
