CPN (Unified Socialist)’s PP meeting today
KATHMANDU, September 8: A parliamentary party (PP) meeting of the CPN (Unified Socialist\) Party is scheduled to be held on Wednesday.
The meeting is due to be held at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar at 2 PM today.
The meeting has been summoned to chalk out strategies for the Federal Parliament session summoned for 4 PM on the same day, according to leader Jeevan Ram Shrestha.
This is the first time for the party -- CPN (Unified Socialsit) -- to participate in the parliament meeting after its formation.
Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has already been elected a parliamentary party leader.
The newly formed CPN (Unified Socialist) Party now stands at the fourth largest party in the country. The party has 23 lawmakers in the lower house and eight in the upper house of parliament.
