Nepal suffers 2-1 defeat in second friendly match against India

KATHMANDU, September 5: India stood victorious with a 2 against 1 goal in the second friendly match played with Nepal in Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Both the teams were unable to score in the first half of the game. However, India scored two goals while Nepal scored one in the second half.

Earlier on Thursday evening, both Nepal and India scored a goal each during the first friendly match played at the Dashrath Stadium.

Faruk Chaudary scored an opening goal in the 62th minute of the game for India. Sunil Chettri then added one more goal for India in the 80th minute for India. 

Similarly, for Nepal, Tej Tamang put the ball into the net in the 87th minute to keep Nepal into the play.
