KATHMANDU, September 4: Nepal recorded 1,268 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday along with 2,195 recoveries and nine deaths.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), OF 9,875 COVID-19 tests conducted on Saturday, 1,268 tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19.
There are currently 31,826 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 29,658 are in home isolation, 2,168 in institutional isolation, 554 in ICus and 172 are on ventilators.
So far as many as 10,818 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Nepal.
Similarly, as many as 107,598 people received COVID-19 vaccines on the same day.
Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 386 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. Of them, 289 were detected in Kathmandu, 44 in Bhaktapur and 53 in Lalitpur districts.
