Ruling alliance holds meeting at Baluwatar, discusses Cabinet expansion
KATHMANDU, August 30: The ruling alliance of five political parties are currently holding a meeting at the Prime Minister Office Residence at Baluwatar.
The meeting is likely to discuss the expansion of the Council of Ministers, budget introduced through ordinance, appointments in constitutional councils, Jay Singh Dami incident, release of Resham Chaudhary among many others.
The ruling alliance includes the Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center), CPN ( Unified Socialist), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and Rastriya Janamorcha Party.
The meeting has been attended by Prime Minister and President of NC, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN ( Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of JSP, Upendra Yadav and Chairman of federal council of JSP, Dr Baburam Bhattarai among other leaders.
