Ruling alliance's key leaders discuss Cabinet expansion
KATHMANDU, August 29: The key leaders of the coalition government held a discussion at Baluwatar earlier on Sunday.
The meeting dwelt on various issues including one relating to giving a full shape to the Council of Ministers.
The meeting held at the Prime Minister Office Residence at Baluwatar was attended by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, chairman of CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and chairman of CPN ( Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal.
The meeting focused on cabinet expansion and power-sharing, according to a leader who also attended the meeting.
PM Deuba currently has a five-member cabinet.
“The ruling alliance is likely to finalize the ministers by Sunday,” a participant of the meeting told Ratopati.
