Nepal to be elected PP leader of CPN (Unified Socialist)
KATHMANDU, August 29: The chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal is all set to be elected as the parliamentary party (PP) leader of the party.
"A parliamentary party meeting began at 11 AM on Sunday at Baneshwar. Today's meeting will take a necessary decision in this regard," said Prem Ale, a central committee member of the party.
The meeting will elect Nepal as the parliamentary party leader and is also scheduled to pick the chief whip and whip of the party.
The CPN (Unified Socialist) said that it would join Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government.
The party is joining the government soon, said Ale.
