Driver killed in jeep plunge

 

 

Gaur, Rautahat, The driver of a jeep carrying the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal cadres was killed when it veered off the road and plunged into a ravine on Saturday night. Seven people were injured in the incident. 
The deceased is Gopal Raya Yadav of East Champaran, Bihar state of India. The Bolero jeep bearing the Indian registration number plate BR 01 PV 3933 fell into the Bhakuwakhola ravine. 
Among those injured, two are being treated at a local hospital while the rest have been taken to the Narayani Sub-regional Hospital in Birgunj for further treatment, police said. The party cadres were returning after participating in the door-to-door election campaign of Kiran Sah who is the Forum Nepal's House of Representatives election candidate from Rautahat constituency-2.
