Shiva temples crowded with devotees despite corona fears (with photos)

KATHMANDU, Aug 9: Despite local administrations’ restrictions on religious activities at the temples and shrines amidst the rising fear of the coronavirus disease, most Shiva temples across the country including Pashupatinath Area in Kathmandu have been crowded with devotees on Monday.

Hindu women worship Lord Shiva on every Monday in the Nepali month of Shrawan.

The women also wear green bangles and apply henna tattoos in this month with a belief that Lord Shiva would fulfil their wishes.
