Tokyo 2020: US leads medal tally

KATHMANDU, Aug 8: The United States of America are leading the medal tally of the ongoing Tokyo Olympic 2020 on the final day.

The US Olympians have so far secured 112 medals including 39 golds. 

China, which was leading the table until Saturday slipped to the second spot with a total of 88 medals including 38 gold, 32 silver and 18 bronze medals. 

While Japan is in the third spot as of Sunday afternoon (13:00), Great Britain and the Russian Olympic Committee are ranked in the fourth and fifth positions.
